Bhubaneswar: India has reported a single day rise of 3,17,532 new COVID-19 infections in the country with 491 deaths. With this the total positive tally of India has reached 3,82,18,773, and the number of deaths has risen to 4,87,693.
The country also reported 2,23,990 recoveries in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases in the country is 19,24,051 with a positivity rate of 16.41 percent. the number of highly infective Omicron variant has also risen to 9287 with an increase of 3.63 against yesterday’s numbers.
