Jharsuguda: Odisha Director General of Police Sunil Kumar Bansal on Wednesday said that the investigation into the Health Minister Naba Das murder case is on the right track.
All aspects are being given importance into the investigation of the case. Hence, it will take time to complete the investigation, informed the DGP.
He further said that a plea will made in the court to extend the remand of accused Gopal Das.
The assistance of state and central forensic experts is being taken in the investigation, he added.
The second phase remand period of Gopal Das has ended today. He has been produced in the court. The Crime Branch will seek the court’s permission to take Gopal Das on remain again, as per reports.
Earlier today, the DGP along with ADG (Law & Order) R K Sharma, Director Intelligence Sanjeeb Panda and northern range IG Dipak Kumar visited the crime spot.
