IT Sector Continues to Expand in Odisha as ESSPL Opens Global Delivery Centre in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The IT sector in Odisha has been witnessing a phenomenal growth as one more IT giant has opened its centre in Bhubaneswar on Monday.

ESSPL, one of the leading home grown IT companies with expertise in logistics software solutions and business intelligence, has opened its new Global Delivery Centre ‘UTKARSH’ at Infocity, Bhubaneswar.

The state-of-the-art centre has been inaugurated in the presence of Electronics and Information Technology Minister Tusharkanti Behera and E&IT Department Secretary Manoj Kumar Mishra.

The ‘UTKARSH’ will be a 300 plus high end manpower development centre catering to technology in logistics, transport, manufacturing, supply chain and other segments.

The opening of ESSPL Global Delivery Centre reinforces Odisha’s yet another succeeding step towards strengthening the IT ecosystem in the State, said the Minister.

“It is a pleasure to see IT space expanding so fast in Odisha giving more power to technology”, said the E&IT Secretary.

Recently, PwC India has opened its new office in Bhubaneswar to tap into the multi-skilled talent pool of Odisha and neighboring regions.
