Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government-run Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Berhampur has received another national accolade for its Waste2Wealth initiative.
The institute has clinched the Runners up prize in a national welding competition organized by International Institute of Welding, under the theme “Trash to Treasure”.
The ‘Konark Chakra’ sculpture, skillfully crafted by the trainees of ITI Berhampur from waste materials, has bagged the Runners Up award at the event.
The sculpture is set to shine at an international exhibition in Greece, said the Skill Development and Technical Education Department.
