Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik congratulated the students of Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Berhampur for their artistic creation, 70ft guitar from waste materials, entering into Asia Book of Records.
The students of ITI Berhampur used scrap materials, such as damaged GI overhead water tanks, pieces of iron and angle bars collected from the workshops to create the artistic guitar, which is perhaps the tallest guitar sculpture in the world.
The students of five different trades – fitter, electrician, welder, turner and painter – used their artistic skills to develop the unique guitar.
Congratulating the students for their artistic creation in a Twitter message, the Chief Minister said he is happy to see the youth embrace such worthy causes to show their skills and shine on global platforms.
