Cuttack: The Jaga and Balia twins, whose conjoined heads were separated at the All India Institute of Medical Science, have reached in SCB medical college and hospital in Cuttack today.
The toddlers Jaga and Balia were born with fused brain and skull, a condition known as craniopagus. They were admitted to AllMS on July 14, 201 7, and their heads were separated after a series of extensive surgical procedures.
“Jaga and Balia are fit and on rehabilitation and physiotherapy which will be monitored by doctors at Cuttack Medical College. The super active Jaga is learning to write and read books, scribble on coloring books, playing games, doing physical activities, taking a sunbath and watch the cartoon, the doctor had added.
