Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance on Saturday arrested Prasanta Kumar Mohapatra, OMVD Traffic Inspector, O/o RTO in Jagatsinghpur in interception case.
The Vigilance sleuths have recovered unaccounted cash of Rs 6.79 lakh from the traffic inspector. He was sent to jail.
Earlier on Friday, a team of Vigilance sleuths intercepted Mohapatra at Tarini Chhaka in Biribati area in Cuttack while he was on his way to the capital city in a car and found ill-gotten cash to the tune of Rs 4.27 lakh from his possession.
