Bhubaneswar: The Jeypore Airport in Koraput district has received the Aerodrome License from the Director General of Civil Aviation.
The airport got the license a day ahead of Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik (UDAN) Diwas, informed the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
The airport will now be able to handle scheduled commercial flights under the government’s regional connectivity scheme UDAN. This will help boost tourism and development of this tribal region.
