Bhubaneswar: Controversial Gopalpur MLA Pradeep Panigrahi has appeared before the Khordha SDJM court in connection with the alleged job fraud case.
The disgraced legislator was produced before the court as his two-day remand period ended on Thursday.
Panigrahi was taken to Capital Hospital here for a medical checkup before being taken to the court, as per reports.
The Crime Branch had interrogated him about the transaction made in his bank account.
Meanwhile, the CB officials are interrogating the Gopalpur MLA’s close aide Sarbeswar Rao, in connection with the alleged job fraud.
