Jolt to Congress: MLA Adhiraj Panigrahi Quits Party 

Bhubaneswar: In a major setback to Congress ahead of crucial simultaneous elections in Odisha, sitting MLA Adhiraj Panigrahi has quit the grand old party on Tuesday.

The Khariar MLA has sent his resignation to Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee President Sarat Pattanayak.

In the letter, Panigrahi said, “I would like to inform you that, I am hereby tendering my resignation from all positions including the primary membership of the Indian National Congress with immediate effect. I thank you for giving me an opportunity to serve the nation and my state for 25 years with passion and dedication”.
