Chennai: In a humanitarian gesture, versatile actor-turned politician Kamal Haasan has offered to provide his former home in Chennai to be used as a temporary hospital to treat the people affected by the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Haasan took to twitter to announce that with the help of doctors from his party he could convert the building that was once his residence into a temporary hospital to treat the coronavirus patients.
The Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) leader also expressed that he is ready to do this once the government gives the required permission.
The building is currently being used by his party.
