Bhubaneswar: Actor-turned-politician and president of Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) Kamal Haasan will meet Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here this evening.
Kamal Haasan, who is on a two-day visit to Odisha to attend a programme at Centurion University of Technology and Management (CUTM) in Bhubaneswar, is expected to meet the Chief Minister at his residence.
As per sources, the versatile actor will be awarded CUTM’s first-ever Honorary Doctorate.
The Odisha CM will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest on Tuesday and confer the Honorary Doctorate to Haasan, according to reports.
Last year, Haasan met the Chief Minister in Chennai on the sidelines of investors’ roadshow of Odisha government and sought his advice and to appreciate him as a fan.
