Bhubaneswar: India’s popular stand-up comedian and television presenter Kapil Sharma called on Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here on Thursday.
The stand-up comedian, who is in Odisha for shooting of his upcoming film, met the Chief Minister at his residence along with writer-director Nandita Das.
Sharma spent some lighter moments with the Chief Minister.
Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian was present on the occasion.
Notably, Nandita Das has roped in Kapil Sharma for her upcoming film where Kapil will be seen playing a food delivery rider. Shahana Goswami will also star in the film.
The film is being produced by Applause Entertainment and Nandita Das Initiatives. The film, slated to begin filming later this month, is set in Bhubaneswar.
