Kartik Pandian Campaigns in Bhadrak Lok Sabha Constituency, Says BJD Already Has Majority Mark to Form Govt

Bhubaneswar: Senior Biju Janata Dal leader Kartik Pandian on Monday campaigned in Basudevpur and Tihidi of Bhadrak Lok Sabha constituency seeking votes for his party candidates for the simultaneous elections.

Addressing the massive gathering of people at a public meeting, the BJD star campaigner said, “We have already achieved the majority mark in the three phases of elections in Odisha”.

Elections for 105 seats of Odisha have been completed in three phases. By the blessings of Mahaprabhu, the BJD has already got the majority mark to form the government in the state. People will see when the results will be declared, he said.

Naveen Patnaik will once again take oath as Chief Minister on June 9 with the blessings of Lord Jagannath. After taking oath, the CM’s first order will be waiver of electricity bill for 90 per cent of families. His second order will be inclusion of all under the BSKY and third order will be the provision of pension for Mission Shakti members after the age of 60. In the fourth order of the Chief Minister, the students will receive the revised Nua-O scholarships. The boy students will get Rs 12,000 each and Rs 14,000 for girl students, he said.

The Chief Minister always stands behind you, looking after your happiness and sadness, he said.

Stepping up his attack on the opposition, the senior BJD leader has exposed the false promises of the BJP.

Not just 5 per cent children in the double engine states are getting scholarship. In Odisha, 98 per cent children will receive the scholarship. In Ayushman Bharat Yojana, only BPL families will get the benefit and others are deprived of it. But the BSKY will cover 100 per cent families in Odisha, he said.

In Mamata Yojana, the Naveen government is giving Rs 10,000 to mothers, while the double engine government is giving Rs 6,000. In the social security scheme, the double engine government is providing an allowance of just Rs 300, the CM Naveen-led government is giving Rs 1000, Kartik Pandian further said.

The BJP now made a new announcement that Rs 50,000 will be given to each woman. During the 2014 elections, the saffron party had promised to provide Rs 15 lakh. Where did it go? Did the price go down? Everything they (opposition leaders) say is a lie. They will talk big during the elections, but they will disappear after the elections, the BJD star campaigner said.

He paid his humble tributes to great leaders Nilamani Routray and Bijayshree Routray and said that they are still in the hearts of the people.

He appealed to the people to give their mandates in favor of the BJD candidates in the ensuing elections.
