Kendrapara: The vigilance sleuths have caught a revenue inspector in Kendrapara district red handed while accepting bribe from a villager.
Anita Tarai, Revenue Inspector of Baradia Revenue Circle under Rajakanika Tahasil has been caught red handed by the officers of Vigilance Cuttack Division while demanding and accepting bribe of Rs.5000 from the complainant Sabita Mallick of village Gualigaon in order to submit a report on a disputed land as directed by Tahasildar Rajakanika.
The bribe amount has been recovered at the spot and seized. Further investigation is underway by the anti-corruption officials, according to sources.
