Keonjhar: An Assistant Block Education Officer (BEO) in Keonjhar district was caught red handed while he was accepting bribe from a school head master.
The vigilance sleuths have caught Abhimanyu Sahu, Asst BEO red-handed while he was demanding and accepting bribe of Rs.10,000 from Somanath Ram , Head Master, Panasadeha U.P. School , Anandapur Block.
The officers of Vigilance, Balasore Division have recovered the bribe money from Sahu.
The residential house of the accused education officer is being searched on DA angle.
Further investigation is underway, the Vigilance Department stated.
