Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance on Thursday apprehended an Anganwadi Supervisor for allegedly taking bribe from a new Anganwadi worker.
The Anganwadi Supervisor has been identified as Renuka Pattanaik of Laxmipur Block in Koraput district.
Pattanaik has been nabbed by the Vigilance sleuths while taking bribe of Rs.50,000 from a new Anganwadi worker in lieu of her engagement as Anganwadi Worker under Laxmipur Block.
In this connection, Koraput Vigilance P.S Case No 14/2025, U/s 7PC (Amendment) Act, 2018 has been registered against the Anganwadi Supervisor. Investigation is in progress in the matter.
