Bhubaneswar: In a major step which could bring cheers to stage artistes, operas and open air theatre, the Odisha Government today allowed to hold shows with maximum of 2000 audience following all Covid-19 guidelines.
The organisers, however has to take approval from the local authorities.
According to the guidelines, the audiences and artists have to maintain six feet distance and the seating arrangement should be made accordingly for the audience.
Similarly, the organizers must how to ensure mandatory thermal scanning of audiences, face mask wearing and physical distancing.
Organisers can explore the online ticket booking facilities for Jatra, Opera and Open Air Theatre shows.
They also need to have sufficient number of ticket counters so that crowding can be avoided.
Persons with Influenza like Infection (ILI), severe acute respiratory infection (SARI) and Covid-19 like symptoms will not be allowed at the Jatra venue.
The organisers again have to adhere and responsible for due compliance of the Covid guidelines issued by the State government for the month of March.
