Bhubaneswar: On the request of the Economic Offences Wing of the Odisha Crime Branch, the Bureau of Immigration has issued a lookout notice against Manoj Kumar Panda, director of Odyssa Homes & Commercials Pvt Ltd. Manoj is absconding in a case related to fraud by his company. His firm is accused of defrauding a large number of property buyers and investors.
The Economic Offences Wing of the Crime Branch had registered a case on the basis of a complaint filed by Ranjan Kumar Mohapatra, a software engineer from Bhubaneswar who alleged that the directors of Odyssa Homes & Commercials had duped him on the pretext of providing a house in the real estate project. Manoj is accused of duping about Rs 20 crore from about 42 gullible people in the name of giving them apartment flats between 2013 and 2016.
