Jammu: Two low intensity explosions have been reported from Jammu Air Force Station. The explosions occurred at the Airport’s Technical area early morning between 1.40 AM and 2 am Sunday. The roof of the building was damaged due to the explosions. According to the Indian Air Force Twitter handle, “Two low intensity explosions were reported early Sunday morning in the technical area of Jammu Air Force Station. One caused minor damage to the roof of a building while the other exploded in an open area.” It also added that there was no damage to any equipment. Investigation is in progress along with civil agencies.

Bomb disposal squad and a forensic team have been sent to the place following the blasts. According to sources, drones were used to carry out the two blasts. Two people working at the Airport have suffered minor injuries. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has spoen to the Vice Air Chief, Air Marshal HS Arora regarding the blasts in Jammu. The Jammu Airport is under the control of Indian Air Force.
