Bhubaneswar: A low pressure area is likely to form over southwest Bay of Bengal around May 22, the IMD’s Meteorological Centre Bhubaneswar informed on Saturday.
The low pressure area will move initially northeastwards and concentrate into a depression over central parts of Bay of Bengal around May 24.
“A low pressure area is likely to form over southwest Bay of Bengal around 22nd May. It is likely to move initially northeastwards and concentrate into a depression over central parts of Bay of Bengal around 24th May,2024”, the regional metrological centre said through its ‘X’ handle.
Odisha is likely to experience rainfall and thunderstorms under the impact of a low pressure formed over the Bay of Bengal.
