Bhubaneswar: Due to the prevalence of the Low Pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal off north Odisha-West Bengal coast, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued Orange Warning for nine districts of Odisha that are expected to get heavy to very heavy rains in the next 24 hours. The districts include Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Anugul, Boudh, Sonepur, Balangir and Bargarh.
Other interior districts such as Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar Dhenkanal and Nuapada have been issued yellow warning which will get heavy rains in one or two places. The Low Pressure is likely to move northwestwards towards north Odisha-West Bengal coast and become more marked during the next 12 hours.
