Low Pressure Over North Andaman Sea May Bring Heavy Rains In State During 11-13 October

Bhubaneswar: The Met Department has predicted heavy rains in Odisha and its neighboring areas during 11th to 13th of this month as a new Low Pressure area is expected to form by the ninth of this month.

A fresh low pressure area is very likely to form over north Andaman Sea and adjoining East-central Bay of Bengal around 09th October 2020.

It is very likely to move northwestwards towards north Andhra Pradesh and Odisha coasts. It will gradually intensify into a Depression during the subsequent 2-3 days. Under its influence, enhanced rainfall activity is likely over north Andhra Pradesh and Odisha during 11-13 October, 2020.
