Maha Drama Continues As Ajit Pawar Breaks Ranks With NCP To Support BJP Government

Mumbai: Even as BJP’s Debendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar have been sworn in as the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra respectively, the political drama unfolding continues to intrigue the nation. While the BJP is hopeful of proving its majority by the 30th of this month as has been asked by the Governor, the NCP-Shiv Sena Congresss Combine has claimed that they are confident of forming the government in the coming days. 

In a power packed press conference, NCP Chief Sharad Pawar has claimed that Ajit may have given a list of the MLA’s to the Governor that was with him for other purposes. As per the photographs available from Governor house, there may be 10 to 11 MLA’s of NCP who went to attended todays swearing in ceremony. On the other hand Uddhav Thakre has said that if the BJP tries to break the Shiv Sena, Maharashtra will not stay ssleep.

Two of the MLA’s who went to the swearing in ceremony today were present at the press conference and they have said that they were unaware of the things going on in Governor house and unknowingly taken to the oath ceremony. Now they have come back and expressed support to Sharad Pawar.

Sharad pawar has also said that disciplinary action against Ajit Pawar would be taken as per the party guidelines.

The NCP will elect its new legislative party leader at 4 pm. He said, the MLAs who went to the Governor house may not know the Anti Defection Laws.
