Manish Anurag Death Case: Police File 400-Page Chargesheet

Bhubaneswar: The Infocity police has filed a 400-page chargesheet at Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) court in connection with the alleged murder of Manish Anurag, son of senior journalist Navin Das.
The chargesheet was filed against the three accused Amrit Biswal of Nayapalli, Mrutyunjay Mishra of Pianpada, and Dinesh Kumar Mohapatra of Anlapada.

The trio has been charged under sections 37 (a) (Kidnapping or abduction for ransom), 302 (Punishment for murder), 201 (Causing disappearance of evidence of offence), and 34 (Acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), according to reports.

They have been accused of murdering Manish on the pretext of inviting him to a party and later destroying evidences.

Notably, the Commissionerate Police had arrested the three accused in October last year for allegedly killing Manish Anurag and later destroying evidences.
