Baripada: Mayurbhanj Chief District Veterinary Officer (CDVO), Abhay Kumar Tripathy has been caught by the vigilance sleuths with an unaccountable cash of Rs 3.91 lakh while he was on his way to Bhubaneswar today.
Meanwhile, the vigilance officials have conducted simultaneous raid on his residence at Khandagiri area in Bhubaneswar, his office chamber and rented house at Baripada.
In the morning, acting on the tip-off, the Vigilance officials intercepted his vehicle at Hatapada in Betnoti of Mayurbhanj district and recovered the said amount from his possession.
