Bhubaneswar: The Meteorological department has predicted heavy to very heavy rains in some places of south and coastal Odisha. As the monsoon has entered most of the areas in Odisha, rains are also expected in northern and interior places.
The cyclonic circulation over east-central Bay of Bengal will intensify into a depression causing heavy rains in coastal and northern districts.
