Mission Shakti Has Turned into a Social Movement: Kartik Pandian at Badasahi

Bhubaneswar: Mission Shakti has turned into a social movement due to the relentless efforts and hard works of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, said senior Biju Janata Dal leader Kartik Pandian while campaigning for the BJD candidates in Badasahi Assembly constituency under Balasore Lok Sabha segment on Tuesday.

Addressing a massive public meeting in Betanati, the BJD star campaigner said Naveen Patnaik will once again take oath as Chief Minister on June 9. After taking oath, his first order will be waiver electricity bill for all, the second order will be to include everyone in BSKY, third order will provide pension for Mission Shakti members after the age of 60 years. In the fourth order of the Chief Minister, the students will get the revised Nua-O scholarships. The boys will get Rs 12,000 each and the girls will receive Rs 14,000 each, the senior BJD leader reiterated.

The opposition is worried looking at the developmental initiatives of the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik-led BJD government, Pandian said.

He further alleged that the BJP is conspiring to stop the welfare schemes like Mission Shakti, BSKY and Nua-O. “We will never let this happen”, he declared.

If Biju family members fight together we will win by a margin of 50 thousand votes in the elections, the BJD star campaigner expressed.

The BJD has already the majority mark with the blessings of the people after the conclusion of three phases of elections in the State, he said.

The Chief Minister has accorded NAC status to Betanati, sanctioned Rs 740 crore for Sono Barrage, Rs 1000 crorefor Subarnarekha Irrigation Project, Rs 1 crore for development of Manatri Shiva temple, Kartik Pandian added.
