Mo Bus Captain Who Returned a Bag Full of Cash – An Example for the Society: Naveen

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today tweeted a congratulatory message for Biswanath Khatua, the Mo Bus Captain who had a found bag full of cash in his bus and returned the bag to the owner. The Chief Minister tweeted “Mo Bus Captain Biswanath Khatua’s righteousness and humanity is an example for the society. I congratulate him for his exemplary deed.”

Two days back the Mo Bus driver Biswanath Khatua made sure that the bag he found, which had Rs 49,500 cash in it, was returned to its rightful owner. Kathua, who works as a driver for “Mo Bus’’ employed with  Traveltime, a company engaged by the Capital Region Urban Transport  (CRUT) company to run “Mo Bus’’ was well appreciated for his honesty by the team.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, 26th June, when Khatua stumbled upon a bag lying unattended while returning his bus on Route No. 25 to Mancheswar terminal point. The incident took place at 9:00 am in the morning, and Khatua followed up for 2 and half hours to return the money. It can be mentioned here that the Route No. 25 of “Mo Bus’’ runs between Mancheswar and Dumduma and vice versa.
