Bhubaneswar: The Monsoon Session of the 16th Odisha Legislative Assembly will begin from today and will continue till October 7.
There will be eight business days in the Session of the Assembly and October 2 will be the holiday on account of the Gandhi Jayanti.
The shortened session will have no Question Hour and the House will convene for around 4 hours daily. 11 Ordinances are likely be tabled and seven Bills replacing Ordinances are also expected be introduced in the House.
All safety measures have been taken to conduct the session as per guidelines issued for Covid-19.
