Mortal Remains of Two Kuwait Fire Tragedy Victims Arrive In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The mortal remains of two Kuwait fire tragedy victims arrived in Bhubaneswar today. The two Odia persons had died in the tragic fire tragedy that happened in Kuwait two days back. The mortal remains of Mohammed Jahur of Cuttack District and Santosh Gouda of Ganjam district reached Bhubaneswar in a special Air Force Helicopter from Kochi. Deputy Chief Ministers K V Singh Deo and Prabhati Parida, along with other senior leaders and officers were present at the Airport and paid their last respects to the departed souls.

While Jahur was a resident of Karadapalli village under Tigiria Police station area of Cuttack district, Santosh Gouda belonged to Ranajhali village in the Purushottampur area of Ganjam district. Both of them were working in the same company. Notably, 45 Indians, including two from Odisha, died in the tragic incident on June 12.
