Resilient Houses for Fani-Affected Families in Puri

Puri:  Puri district administration has signed an MoU with two entities to build disaster resilient houses for cyclone Fani-affected families.

The MoU was signed between the district administration, L&T Tech Services and Habitat for Humanity India in the presence of Puri Collector Balwant Singh to build 150 disaster resilient houses for Fani Cyclone affected families.

The houses will be built at Bada Bhoi Sahi, Uttar Bhoi Sahi & Dhaudi Adivasi Colony in Puri Sadar block, sources said.

Notably, Puri was the worst affected districts by the devastating cataclysmic storm Fani that pounded Odisha’s coast on May 3 this year.
