Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Nandankanan Zoological Park and State Botanical Garden will reopen for the visitors from October 4.
The Nandankanan Zoo has remained closed for the visitors for nearly seven months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the Zoo authorities, a special SOP adhering to Coronavirus guidelines have been prepared for the visitors after consulting with the State authorities.
A fixed number of visitors will be allowed to visit the park in a restricted manner with all Covid-19 guidelines and social distancing norms.
The zoo sees footfall of around 30 to 35 lakh a year and earns around Rs 15 crore revenue, according to reports.
