Fighting a gigantic Cyclone and restoring the aftermath is not a mean feat. But we have done it successfully. All the efforts of Odisha to evacuate more than a million people and providing relief and restoration was one of the biggest efforts in the history of the state and country. The whole process of evacuation of a million people has been documented by none other than the world’s most respected National Geographic Channel. The show titled Mega Cyclone Fani: Rescuing a Million, captures on camera how the State administration saved a million lives just 24 hours before Cyclone Fani devastated the coastal areas.
