Naveen Announces Rs 2 Lakh Ex-Gratia for Kin of Odia Pilgrims Died in Hazaribagh Bus Accident

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has grieved the death of Odia pilgrims in a bus accident in Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand.

The Chief Minister announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh for the next kin of the deceased and directed to ensure proper treatment to the injured.

The CM also asked the Mayurbhanj district Collector to coordinate with the Jharkhand Government to make arrangements for the  return of all the pilgrims to their homes.

As per reports, four pilgrims from Odisha died after the bus they were travelling in met with an accident near Katkamsandi in Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand on Sunday. Several others injured in the accident.
