Naveen Appeals All To Maintain Hand Hygiene To Prevent Infectious Diseases

Bhubaneswar: On World Hand Hygiene Day, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has appealed all not to be complacent in following the important sanitation protocol of Hand Hygiene. In a tweet, he said, “Hand hygiene is one of the simplest ways to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.

On #WorldHandHygieneDay, appeal everyone not be complacent in following this important sanitation protocol every day and wash your hands frequently to limit the spread of #COVID19 virus.”

In the initial phase of the onset of the Coronavirus in India, Naveen had emphasized on hand washing as an important tool in preventing Corona virus. He himself also participated in a mass hand washing program held in the assembly premises in a bid to promote preventative measures to tackle the spread of the virus.
