Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister on Wednesday appreciated young Kendrapada Collector Samarth Verma for making ready 100-bed Odisha Covid Hospital with 10 ICUs in short span.
The soft spoken IIT Kanpur graduate has strengthened Odisha’s fight against COVID19 by creating heath infrastructure in quick time in Kendrapara district, which reported two COVID-19 positive cases.
The CM also lauded the effort of SUM Hospital, which helped to set up the hospital funded by CMRF.
In his twitter handle, Naveen wrote, “Appreciate @dmkendrapara for making ready 100-bed Odisha Covid Hospital with 10 ICUs in short span, strengthening Odisha’s fight against COVID-19. Commend SUM Hospital for joining hands for free of cost hospital to treat COVID-19 patients, funded from CMRF. Odisha Fights Corona”.

Speaking to the Newsroom.co.in, Verma expressed his happiness over CM’s appreciation and said this kind of appreciation motivates to go beyond one’s duty in fight against pandemic.
