Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal President and Leader of Opposition (LoP) Naveen Patnaik on Thursday celebrated the Independence Day with the children.
Naveen hoisted the national flag at a function held at Sankha Bhawan.
The BJD supremo paid his humble tributes to the freedom fighters and great sons of the soil.
Speaking on the occasion, Naveen said, “Children are future citizens of our country and glad to be charmed by their simplicity, enthusiasm and energy. May they emerge as torchbearers of tomorrow and play greater role in nation building”.
The BJD President also extended his greetings to the people of the state on the occasion.
