New Delhi: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today condoled the tragic death of Odia Flight Lieutenant Sunit Mohanty, who was among the air-warriors on board the ill-fated AN-32 transport aircraft of Indian Air Force (IAF) that crashed in Arunachal Pradesh.
“Deeply saddened by the news of our air warriors who lost their lives in AN 32 crash including the brave Flight Lieutenant Sunit Mohanty from Odisha”, the Chief Minister tweeted.
“My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and pray for the departed souls to rest in peace”, Naveen expressed.
The IAF on Thursday declared that all 13 people on board the AN-32 aircraft which crashed in Arunachal Pradesh are dead.
The statement came after a team of rescuers searched the wreckage of the plane in a heavily forested mountainous terrain.
The IAF confirmed that there were no survivors from the crash of the AN-32 aircraft.
