Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has congratulated the doctors at SCB Medical College and Hospital for successfully performing the first-ever allogeneic bone marrow transplant on a blood cancer patient.
This is a significant milestone achieved by #Odisha which is going to save many precious lives, the Chief Minister said.

Bone marrow transplantation, which started in SCBMCH in 2014-15 under the leadership of CM Naveen Patnaik reached another milestone by successful conduction of First Allogenic Bone Marrow Transplant on Abhiram Jena, a blood cancer patient, the Health and Family Welfare Department said.
