Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has congratulated the Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar for crossing milestone of one lakh tests and strengthening Odisha’s fight against COVID-19.
“Congratulations Institute of Life Sciences (ILS) for crossing milestone of one lakh tests and strengthening #Odisha’s fight against COVID-19. Appreciate for playing a significant part in Odisha’s effort to ramp up tests to contain the spread of the pandemic”, the CMO tweeted.
The Health and Family Welfare Department also hailed the achievement.
“The Institute of Life Sciences, Bhubaneswar has achieved yet another milestone with more than 1 lakh COVID-19 sample tests. Congratulations to the team who defy all odds to save lives”, the Department said on a Twitter post.

Odisha has conducted 3836825 COVID-19 tests so far.
