Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal President Naveen Patnaik has expelled Malkangiri Zilla Parishad member Sasmita Majhi from the BJD for her involvement in anti-people activities.
Majhi is the Zilla Parishad Member of Zone-3 of Mathili block in Malkangiri district.
“Naveen Patnaik, President, Biju Janata Dal has expelled Sasmita Majhi, Zilla Parishad Member, Zone 3 of Mathili Block, Malkangiri district, Odisha with immediate effect for her anti-people activities”, BJD State Senior Media Coordinator Pratap Jena informed through a press release.
