Naveen Hails FM’s Economic Revival Package, Says Will Generate Lakhs of Jobs in MSME Sector

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has hailed the economic revival package announced by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and said that it will generate lakhs of jobs for workers in the vast Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector in the country.

“The economic revival package announced by @FinMinIndia has given hope to the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises sector in the country. The stimulus package will generate lakhs of jobs for workers in the vast MSME sector”, the Odisha CM said.

Naveen said, “The package for employment and economic revival will now largely mitigate the distress of working class who were impacted by COVID19 pandemic and nation-wide lockdown thereafter”.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced a facility of Rs 3 lakh crores collateral-free automatic loans for business, including Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), among other decisions.

“The move will enable 45 lakh MSME units to resume business activity and also safeguard jobs,” FM Sitharaman said.
