Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has lauded the efforts of Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya (OAV) students in spreading traffic awareness through video to protect precious lives.
The students of Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya, Notar, Nayagarh have prepared the video on road safety to sensitize the people on traffic rules.
The video was made for the online idea competition organized by the Odisha Commerce and Transport Department. It had won the first prize in the online idea competition during the Road Safety Week 2020.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has congratulated the OAV students on winning the prize.
“Congratulate Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya, Notar, Nayagarh on winning first prize in the online idea competition during Road Safety Week 2020. Appreciate the effort of our students to spread traffic awareness so lucidly to protect precious lives”, Naveen tweeted.
Union Road Transport & Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari also appreciated the students for their initiative.
“I don’t know who are the children who have made this video but they have successfully communicated the most important principles of road safety. It is very interesting and all of us should watch this”, the Union Minister wrote on a Twitter post.
