Naveen Patnaik Elected BJD President for 9th Consecutive Term 

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s most popular mass leader Naveen Patnaik has been unanimously elected as the President of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) for the ninth consecutive term.

Naveen, the sole candidate for the post, was declared President of the BJD during the party’s state council meeting held today.

The announcement was met with widespread celebrations and joy among BJD leaders and workers, who extended their heartfelt congratulations to the mass leader.

Following his re-election, Naveen expressed gratitude to party members for their continued trust and reaffirmed his commitment to serving Odisha.

He urged party workers to counter false narratives, particularly on social media, to strengthen the party’s outreach and connect with the people of Odisha.

“Whether in government or not, BJD has always served Odisha and will continue to do so,” he declared, underscoring the party’s resolve to empower women, farmers, youth, workers, and tribals. He reaffirmed BJD’s unwavering commitment to Odisha’s pride and interests, vowing to fight for the state’s rights.

Naveen expressed confidence in the party’s workers, calling them the backbone of BJD, and urged them to take the message of service to every village and city.

“Our policies, ideals, and unity with Odisha’s interests are our strength. BJD will always remain strong,” he concluded.

The formation of the state executive committee of BJD is expected soon, which will pave the way for restructuring the party’s grassroots organizations, including its women’s, youth, and student wings.
