Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today reaffirmed his commitment to make Odisha a gateway to global maritime trade.
On the occasion of National Maritime Day, the Odisha Chief Minister said that seaborne transport is a prime driver of trade and economy.
Taking to Twitter, Naveen also urged all to celebrate Odisha’s glorious seafaring heritage.

India celebrates National Maritime Day every year on April 5 to create awareness in supporting safe and environmentally sound intercontinental commerce and the global economy. This day focuses on defending and preserving the maritime zone of the country.
