Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today thanked the people of Odisha for his party Biju Janata Dal’s (BJD) fifth straight victory in the Assembly elections.
Expressing his gratitude, the CM said, “I would like to express my deep gratitude to the people of our state, who have showered their blessings time and again”.
The BJD supremo also thanked his party workers and leaders for the spectacular victory.
“I would also like to thank leaders and workers of the party who worked so hard for the elections”, Naveen said.
Naveen, who is all set to become the fifth time CM of Odisha, also conveyed his special thanks to the women voters for turning out in large numbers and voting in favour of the BJD.
Earlier today, the CM congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the landslide victory of BJP-led NDA in the Lok Sabha elections and said that his party would maintain constructive relation with the Centre for the development of State.
