Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi on June 9 to discuss a host of issues pertaining to the development of the State.
Both the leaders will be meeting for the first after assuming their respective office following the 2019 elections results.
Naveen was sworn-in as the Chief Minister of Odisha for the fifth consecutive term, while Modi took over as the country’s Prime Minister for a second term.
The Odisha CM is likely to discuss the reconstruction measures in cyclonic storm ‘Fani’ affected areas in the state with Modi, sources said.
The two leaders will also discuss about Odisha’s participation in the Centre’s flagship health programme ‘Ayushman Bharat’.
Naveen is also likely to meet Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan and other Union Ministers during his visit to Delhi, sources added.
