Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has decided to implement “Mo Sarkar” initiative for the better management of COVID-19 situation in the State.
Chairing a high level meeting, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said, “We will start Mo Sarkar and take random feedback from positive patients admitted in the Covid care centres and Covid hospitals”.
All Covid observers and senior officers must take random feedback from patients, the CM stressed.
“We will also do the same for Covid care Warriors, take feedback from them to improve the availability of avenues with various Covid care facilities”, he added.
“We should have a system of online entry for occupancy in Covid care homes. This will improve monitoring”, the CM said.
Naveen said, “It is important to keep family members informed about the change in health status of positive patients. We should also have facilities to connect patients and their family members through phone or video call”.
“The State Government have developed a decentralized covid-19 management strategy document based on the suggestions received from Collectors, SPs and others during my last meeting with them through video conference”.
“Different departments, district administrators, and senior officers of Government have been entrusted with specific responsibilities towards management of Covid-19 pandemic in the State. I believe you must be taking sincere steps for implementing the tasks in the field”, he said.
