Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today unveiled the logo of first World Odia Language Conference. The tagline for the logo is “Bhasa Hin Bhabisyata” or “Language is Future. Unveiling the Logo, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has wished the Conference a huge success. The World Odia Language Conference is scheduled to be held from 3rd February to 5th February. Naveen has also said that the Conference will be a great platform for exchange of views among intellectuals, researchers, scholars and students.
He said Odisha is the first linguistic state in modern India. It has gained the status of a Classical Language thereby bringing glory to our soil and language. The first World Odia Language Conference will be organized to deliberate on the past, present and future of Odia language and to set goals for its propagation.
